About Bregman, el siguiente (as follows)

Rafael Bregman is going through a process of physical development -he is a bit shy and unlike most of his schoolmates, he has acne. Rafael prepares for the Jewish ritual of passage into adulthood, the Bar Mitzvah.
As follows, portraits with tenderness and humor how Rafael lives this coming-of-age process where his social surrounding plays an important roll, contributing to make the protagonist enter the adulthood while at the same time he loses his innocence.

One of the best shorts I ever saw, the story brought back memories of older generations in Italy (Jewish and not Jewish)....watch it and you will understand what I mean.

Employing the dry humor in the storytelling of "Bregman" is integral in exhibiting the awkwardness of adolescence. This short film seems to capture the essence of what it is to be a young teenage boy (jewish or not). Such scenes as the 'accidental' crotch bumping into the girl on the bus, the separation of boys and girls at the bar mitzvah dance, and the extreme physical difference between the skinny awkward boy and the voluptuous full bodied woman his father hires for him as a welcoming into manhood, are all perfect illustrations of how odd it is to be a sexually charged but terrifyingly inexperienced kid. Great stuff!
